By Vehicle: Travel west on the Yellowhead Trans Canada Hwy (#16) from Prince George, British Columbia, Canada to Vanderhoof and then straight on to the Village of Burns Lake.

Travel east on the Yellowhead Hwy (#16) from Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada to Terrace, then Smithers , the Houston and from there, continue on to Burns Lake, BC.

Hwy #97 connects to Hwy #16 from the north driving from Dawson Creek. Connecting to Hwy #16 from the south of the province follow Hwy #97 from Hope, BC (east of Vancouver BC).

By Air: Floatplane services are available from private resorts located on Babine and Francois Lakes and there is a small plane airport west of the community of Burns Lake.

By Rail: The VIA Railroad stops in Burns Lake year round.
